Interested in fashion design but never knew where to start? Toronto Fashion Academy is offering a fashion design workshop constructed for all level individuals as an 1-on-1 workshop. Various prominent designers to choose from you will pick one of your choice and work you through the basics of the trade to develop your skills and prepare you for your future in the fashion industry. Custom curriculum created by you and the designer of your choice and customized schedule.

TFA offers fashion design personalized workshop(s) constructed for beginner to advance levels. Fashion design instructors will walk you through the trade of this business and focus on aspects that you are most interested in. There is no curriculum provided for this workshop, an

interview will be scheduled with the instructor and an outline will be created best suiting your skills and preferences. Our goal is not only to teach, but to improve your overall skills as a designer, eventually leading you to discover your own creative identity. The one-on-one

customized workshop takes place at the studio space of the instructor or TFA.

TFA’s design workshop will provide you with the necessary skills and also guide you in the completion of a portfolio, which reflects your vision as a designer. There are no pre-requisites or experience required to take this workshop.

The course is 32 hours divided into 16 hours of in-class/virtual sessions and 16 practical hours. The workshop is one month long with classes taking place through the week based on the availability of both the student and the instructor.

*A design kit is not provided, students will purchase items/tools based on their level of skills through the recommendations of the instructor.
